YouTube has a mind of its own. Every once in a while, I will upload a video and it doesn’t appear in the listing of videos.  It will, if you click on the word “video”, but it doesn’t appear under the name of my channel.  I’m not sure why, but eventually, maybe a day or so, it does.

I realize that YouTube is an online vehicle, but I never imagined that it would also be also impossible to find support.  If you have a question, you put the information in the search box for YouTube and hope that someone else has thought to make a video about it.  If they haven’t, you are out of luck.  You probably think that this is an exaggeration.  Here’s exactly what YouTube offers in the way of support.

Ok, so I’m not an eligible partner, so I can’t email them. The thousands of answers they have are from the YouTube community.  Back to, if you have a question, put it in the search box.  Geez!  So I put my question in the search box on the “help” page, and the exact question came up.  It was answered by three different YouTubers but alas, the answer was not helpful.  Huh.  Where to go next?  So I found a YouTuber that does videos on support and his answer was the following:  “YouTube uploads tons of videos every day and sometimes it takes longer than others for a video to go live.”  That would make perfect sense if the video I uploaded after that one hadn’t immediately appeared on my channel.  I’m hoping the video eventually shows in my listing.  It’s frustrating that I can’t find an answer.  Maybe someday I’ll be worthy of the ability to email them.  One can only hope.
