A couple of months ago, I was at a church rummage sale and found a really unusual piece and had to buy it for a quarter.  It was an old expense tracker for a business.  It had twelve small envelopes, one for each month, inside a long (but not tall) three ring binder.  The binder was fabric covered and was housed inside a fabric covered box that has an open end to slide the binder in and out.  At the time, I just thought it was interesting.  Now with my girlfriend getting married, I’m thinking I can convert it into a photo album for her.  The envelopes would be terrific for tags and the small envelopes are the perfect size to cover with a photo.  I thought I would put some longer pages between the small envelopes for more photo space.

Her wedding theme is denim and lace so I thought I would use denim style paper for the album.  I found one pack of paper from Die Cuts with a View called Denim Stack.  Unfortunately, it’s been discontinued so I had to buy it from Amazon and pay full price for it, which didn’t really thrill me.  The paper came today and I’m getting ready to start working on the project.  I have three weeks to finish it and I’m sure that will be plenty of time.  Her wedding is for the immediate family and we will be going to the reception.  I think it will be a cute project and will be a great first video to take something old and make it new again.
