It’s getting to be crunch time for the wedding album I’m making for my friend’s wedding next weekend. I’ve done some work on it and decided I’m probably going to scrap a portion of what I have done. Have you ever looked at a project and thought “this is just terrible?” That’s where I’m at with this album. I like the cover and the box that holds it. There were small envelopes inside that I’ve covered with card stock, but they look terrible (in my opinion.) I think they need to be scrapped and either make my own envelopes to hold tags, or skip them entirely. I’m thinking scrapping them might be the way I go with them. I’m probably my own worst critic when it comes to crafts, but this is one of those times that I think you would definitely agree with me. It just looks bad.
I was shopping at Joanns with my girlfriend, Cora, and she thought I should buy some white cord to put around the jean pockets that are on the front of the album. I bought a yard of it and was pretty happy with it until I lost it. I’m not sure if it’s still in the bag (rhat I threw away), or if I put it in a “safe place.” Probably put it in a safe (site to be determined) place. So I went to Michaels and bought more that was included in a set of white ribbons in their $1.50 racks. It might work fine, but I’m mad that I lost the first cord. What to do? I need to get a couple more embellishments for it and I think it will be fine.
