I’m done making sympathy cards for awhile, at least I hope I’m done for a while.  I think the thing that’s most difficult about making them is that you can’t help but feel your loss as you are making the card.

So I’m onto making cards that are more fun and frisky.  I have a friend who just had a birthday and he’s a lot of fun so I wanted his card to reflect his personality.  I’m really happy with the results and that card should be going live in the next day or so.

The weather today is screaming for me to try some outdoor projects.  I have a couple of small drawered cabinets and want to turn them from kind of ugly, to cute and productive.  They are going to go in my craft room where Bella’s cage is currently residing.  I know it’s hard to relocate Bella, but I keep locking her into the craft room when I’m not using it and I think she’ll be happy relocating to the living room as long as she has a spot that is quiet and private as she likes her “alone” time.

I bought some great textured paint for my project that should really hide any blemishes that need to go.  You’ll see the whole thing from start to finish and I hope it encourages you to try something with repurposing furniture as well.
