This year Cards for Cubs was not something I was looking forward to doing. In past years, I have really enjoyed making cards, but this year, I didn’t feel like making them. So I invited my good friend Cora to make them with me. We each made 20 cards in one evening. I had purchased a lot of things to make it as easy as possible, including postcards that needed to be cut down from 6″ long to 5 1/4″ and luckily the width was already 4″ so once we cut the length, they were ready to be added to card bases. I’m still trying to use the pre-made card bases I bought at Michaels many many years ago and we made a dent in those, so eventually I won’t have any more to use, and that will be amazing.
