Making Fairy Lights with our Great Niece and Nephew

Take a numbers of different colors of Tulip glow in the dark paints (that we found at Michaels in set for $12.99 before our coupon). Using a paintbrush for each color, make dots on the inside of your Mason jars (or any jar with a lid.) We ran them through the dishwasher before we did the project so we knew they were clean. Once you are happy with the number of dots inside the jar, put it in the sun or under a light source for at least an hour and then they will glow like a fairy light or a jar filled with lightning bugs. They chose different ribbons and glitter to decorate their lids and let them dry. We had a great time making them and even their mothers made a jar. It was an easy and fun craft and we really had fun making the video together. We’ll have two more videos featuring the Parker great nieces and nephew in the upcoming days. I hope you enjoyed this idea for pre-teens and teens.
