Today was the first garage sale of the year. It was an estate sale in the owner’s home, and I love those, because there are so many fun vintage items to look through. This person had old suitcases and if you know me, and my storage system for crafty things, I absolutely can’t find anything better or more durable than vintage suitcases. I use them for my seasonal stamps and Christmas embellishments, as well as one for fabrics and another for gelli plate items. I know, I haven’t used my gelli plate yet, but I plan on using it in the near future as I think I’ll need a break from card making soon.
I have another video that needs uploaded and then I’ll be back to using a technique that involves the white pigment ink again. It’s a favorite of our Jennifers, and I’m sure you’ll agree that so far, we’ve gotten great results when using it.
I have two different techniques using the pigment ink that I’ll be trying then I think I’ll have my MISTI back and will be making some different and hopefully, unique ideas with it.
My friend Elishia and I have a plan to use the same stamp sets on our channels and each make a card to see what results we achieve on our own. I can’t wait to see what Elishia does because she’s really talented and actually does use her Big Shot, which puts her at a huge advantage over my crafty skills.
I’m also thinking of playing more with my Distress inks, so look forward to some videos involving them. There’s a world of Jennifer inspired videos, all I need to do is capture ones that really appeal to me and hopefully, they will appeal to you as well.
