I remade the card I attempted yesterday, and feel really good about myself for doing so. I put a ribbon on it, and immediately after, regretted it, but that’s sometimes how it goes. You never really know if you’re going to love something until you give it a try…and this wasn’t my best effort. It took the card from simple and elegant, to simple with a bow..Yikes!
I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this yet, and I wanted to put a note out there to everyone whose homes are in the strike zone of Hurricane Florence. My sister and her husband live in Morehead City, North Carolina, and up until yesterday, you probably didn’t know that town existed…Today, however, it’s all the Weather Channel can talk about, as the storm seems to be coming ashore there. They were (luckily), part of the mandatory evacuation, so they’ve left with their cats and dogs, and are now with family in Georgia….I think they picked the wrong direction to evacuate, and wish they’d have chosen to come north instead. I’m glad they are safe in Georiga, and am fretting about what they’ll see when they return home. I just hope this hurricane makes a big turn at the last minute so the damage isn’t as severe as they are predicting.. I’m praying for all of you and your families and friends, that it’s not the storm that the Weather Channel has predicted.
Just getting caught up on your blog. How are Cathy and John?
