Easy Card From Premade Note Cards and Punches, Happy Howl-o-ween

I made this card before and had it on the missing memory sticks so I remade it because I think the process is great for any 5occasion, I just happen to be using it for a Halloween card.
I started with chevron notecards that are 5 1/2″ wide by 4 1/4″ tall or an A2 card size.  I used a silver glittery paper that is 5 1/4″ x 4″ and then a purple layer that is 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″ tall.  I have a new gingerbread punch from Stampin’ Up and used the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamps that go with the punch.  I stamped the mummy, the skeleton and the vampire with Versafine Onyx Black then colored them with alcohol markers (you should use Memento black ink to avoid smearing when using alcohol markers), and then punched them out with the gingerbread punch.  You can save time by not coloring your punched images.  I also stamped a bat from a retired set called Googly Ghouls from Stampin’ Up and cut it out and put googly eyes on the eyes of the bat.  I used a third Stampin’ Up retired stamp set called Howl-o-ween Creeps for the sentiment.  I used a label punch for the Happy Howl-o-ween and punched another label in orange and cut it in half and made the orange edges show beneath the white layer.  I used orange ribbon near the bottom of the purple layer.  This is a really good way to make a very fast card, by using punches and a premade card base.  I hope you’ll give it a try.
